Nikon D60!!!!!

This past weekend my mom bought a Nikon D60 DSLR!
We were looking at saving up for the Nikon D3200 .
Well,  she was looking on Craigslist and came across this camera that was $150.  They said that the lens was broken, so we were hesitant about going to look at it.
Well, on Saturday my mom went to look at it.  I wanted to go, but I was at our church.
She sent my dad a text that she got it!
I've always wanted a DSLR and I was so excited that our family finally got one!
When I got home she told us about the extra lens that was laying on the table.
The people that were selling the camera were also selling an extra lens.  My mom was able to get this lens for $50!  And for $6 she was able to order the piece that was broken on the other lens to fix it!
This camera is GREAT and I LOVE it!

Today I took pictures of Josephina enjoying the beautiful weather outside.

Spring is FINALLY Here!

The weather has been so nice this week!  I love it :)
Today was so warm that Kit decided  to get out her sandals!

She couldn't wait till the day came when the weather is like this!  She even pulled her hair up into two little piggy tails!

There's starting to be a little bit more color around here!

A bud on our Lilac Bush.

How's the weather where you live?

Felicity Tries To Paint Eggs

Over the Easter weekend, Felicity tried to paint some eggs.  This was the first time that she ever did it and she thought that since everyone else made it look easy, that it would be!  However, she found out that it wasn't at all.
So, enjoy reading Felicity's "How To Paint Eggs" post.
Today  I'm going to show you how to paint Easter eggs.
*This is my very first time doing this, so I don't know how this is going to go.*
Let's get started.
First you need to boil your eggs in a pot of water.  Be sure to keep your eye on them so you don't over boil them.

After that is done, the really fun part comes!   Get your paints out and start painting your eggs.
I'm going to try to put stickers on them so there is a cute decoration!

Okay, so my stickers didn't STICK!  How in the world do they do this?
Instead I'll just paint it red and blue and add polka dots!
So, for egg number two we will add tape to it and maybe there will be a cool design.

Okay, so as you can see, that did not turn out right!
I think I'm about to go crazy!
I'm just going paint it yellow and add a design of my own!
Here it is!

Ha!  That's ALL I'm doing, and I think I'll just eat the rest of the eggs that I boiled!

Hope your egg painting went better than mine.

Well, hope you had fun reading about Felicity and her egg painting.

A New Doll Skirt!

I came across a blog that had a link to where I could get a free pattern for a wrap skirt for dolls.
The skirt is reversible, so you get two skirts in one!
They are so easy and they don't take long to make!

I didn't want to stop making them!
