A New Wagon

One fall afternoon Felicity and Kirsten were walking home from school and they found a red wagon sitting out for trash.
"Ooo, this would be perfect to put Coconut in!" Kirsten said.
Felicity grabbed the wagon and they walked the rest of the way to their house.
When they reached the house they ran inside and put their schoolbags in their room.
Kirsten went and got Coconut, then together they went outside.

They pulled her over to the grass and stood on the top of the hill.

"On the count of three, we will push her down the hill.  One...two.."
"Wait!"  Felicity cried.
"Well, I remember once when I was pushed down a hill in a wagon.  As soon as I reached the bottom I TIPPED!  We wouldn't want that to happen to her."
"Oh, don't worry.  Its not a steep hill and she can't go really fast."
"Oh, alright.  Go ahead."
"One, two" (long pause) "THREE!"

They watched her roll down the hill.

Down she went.   She started to go too fast!
        Suddenly a voice sounded.
"Girls!  Where is Coconut?  I need to take her on a walk!"  They heard Josephina calling.
"AHH!!  Catch the dog!"  Kirsten yelled.

Felicity lunged towards the wagon.
"I got it!"  she said.
"Phew!  That wagon was going faster than I thought," said Kirsten.  "Josephina may have been walking a dog with a broken arm, leg, nose, rib, tooth, eye or maybe even a-"
Felicity stopped her,"  I don't think she could have broken her tooth or her eye.  Besides, how could she walk a dog if it had all those problems?  But I told you, we shouldn't of pushed her down the hill.  Next time, lets just pull her in the wagon."
My mom found this wagon at a yard sale for fifty cents!
I hope you enjoyed the story!
Here are a few more pictures of Coconut in the wagon.
She's so cute!

It's the First Day of Fall!

Kit is pretty excited about Fall.
She can't wait to see the trees change into beautiful colors, have some Pumpkin Pie, and jump into leaf piles!
What's your favorite thing about Fall?

Felicity's Walk Through the Garden

The weather here is starting to feel so much like Fall weather.  It's hard to believe that September is almost over.
I made a doll skirt the other night with some fall colors in it!

Felicity felt like she was in a "Fall mood", so she decided to wear it.
She took a walk through the garden. The sun felt nice and warm on her face.

She was admiring the lovely flowers.

They looked and smelled so wonderful, she decided to pick a few.

She had a lovely evening out in the sun and in the nice fall feeling weather.

My Labor Day

On Labor day my family and I went to a church in Reading, PA to see the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team.
We have a lot of their Cd's and enjoy listening to them.
We went on "family night".
They played a lot of fun games.  At the end of the games, they played a few songs.
All of the musicians are so talented.

The time flew by too fast.

However, my highlight was at the very end.  We were standing in the foyer, and we asked Allison if she had any tips for double stops (playing two strings at the same time.)

This is something that I'm trying to conquer but having a hard time at doing so.
She was telling me some things while working at the book table.  Then she said, "Would you like to play my violin?"  She told the other person that was working the book table that she was going to go into the auditorium.
Allison has such a sweet and friendly spirit.  She was very generous of her time.
We had a great time playing together!

I'm very thankful for her tips!
